Czechoslovakia is no more. Now the Czech and Slovak Republics, respectively, this former state was one of many locked in the grip of post-WWII Soviet power. The Czechs had a lot of important indigenous firearms designs, including the LMG that most of the world knows best as the Bren Gun. This proud tradition of arms making and national identity hit a few bumps in the road when it encountered Soviet planning. I won't be able to cover this culture's weapons adequately. I actually have a very thin ability to cover the very broad range of weapons designed the world over in the past century or two. But I can cover a few designs that have significant presence in private hands here in the US, and that will be quite ambitious enough for a part time endeavor like this.
