Another problem encuntered with this test session was that the chamber fired did not achieve valve closure. I believe this is because the new pattern of striker teeth are equally resistive on the return stroke as they are on the ignition stroke.
So -- next test will be with the old striker bodies, with their angled-forward teeth, no grease on the chamber mouths, and the new ferro-mag alloy flints.
In other minor news, I posted a photo and short bit on what appears to be an expansion / heat-crack observed in the chrome lining of an AK barrel that doesn't seem to affect accuracy much, if at all.
And I may have secured access to a decent place for some medium to long range evaluation shooting of the Romanian PSL Unit Designated Marksman rifle.
